Proposals : List
Carpet – Voted that we will purchase a new carpet this year.
Transponders: – We will look into bulk purchasing some transponders to then sell back to club members
Kiwi Cup best 8 rounds – voted in to match the qualifying of the Long Track
Two Cars – Reminder that you should only use one car per race meeting
Testing – Anyone testing parts that aren’t within the rule book must declare this at the beginning of the night.
Clive B: propose the track to be relined with plastic, the sort of stuff that they make chassis with. I think the metal liner we have now, has done its job since it was done. Various pieces of the track are now badly twisted. – Clive will look further into this. A number of volunteers have offered to clean the track and complete some track maintenance. Simon will get the edges machined on the centre section to create bevelled edges. Rob will look at making ramps for either end of the track.
Owen: heats 1,2,3, to be straight after one another as it sometimes drags heat 1 racing heat 3 Marshall, heat 2 racing heat 1 Marshall, heat 3 racing 2 Marshall, possible 15 min break then same again x2 that way we finish a bit earlier or could run a grand national connie winner into the final as well. – Although we try to run the meeting like this each week, it has be decided that we will run an automatic timer between heats and rounds.
